Amanda Bossard net worth

Amanda Bossard graduated from high school in 1992 and began an education in marine science at Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage. Bossard began her career as a commercial seafood expert at the age of 1999, after she began working on board the F/V Sunset 65' halibut-schooner, which has become a salmon tender for Murat Aritan, who has been a commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard and Aritan are now married and have joined forces to claim their place in their industry. Both are advocates of preserving sustainable and renewable sources of seafood. In 2007, now a mother of two young children Bella age 3 and Andre 1 Bossard before returning to her home in Philadelphia, opened a direct wholesale distribution of seafood known as Otolith. Its name is an affectionate reminder of her intimate expertise in fish biology as well as her husband's lengthy involvement with the fishing industry, frequently keeping them from each other for 5 months or more when they are focused on their financial and environmental goals which are a reflection of their individuality and commitment to their community wherever they reside. Bossard and their son Andre and daughter Isabella will return back to Southeast Alaska every summer as deckhands for the salmon season. With a small 42 troller, the Bossards capture salmon with hooks. Then they work alongside Aritan in a local processing plant for two weeks. Amanda Bossard works as an Anchor/MMJ at News 12 Brooklyn and News 12 Bronx. She is with the station since November 2015. She has a passion for reporting on the positive things that happen within the boroughs she covers as well as telling stories that create an impact.
